Enjoy greater awareness, safety, visibility and peace of mind when you keep this portable thermal imaging camera at the ready on your boat.
The confidence that comes from full visibility day and night is something you’ll never want to be without again. This marine camera allows you to see heat, not light, so you’ll have a perspective that will never be ruined by pitch blackness or blinding light. See obstacles such as rocks, mooring balls and buoys clearly; never miss a small boat, kayak or channel marker; and identify landmarks such as docks, coves and marinas up to 3,280 yards away. Find pets and people overboard immediately – regardless of conditions – and increase the safety of your entire crew with this easy-to-use device.
Key Feature
Overall visibility: this camera provides an 18° x 14° field of view from a distance of 9842 feet and a range to a person in the water of 3740 feet. It has 2x and 4x zoom capabilities, so you won’t miss any important details. Record thermal video and view it on the built-in 640 x 480 resolution LCD display or on your computer by connecting it with the included USB cable. This view is created using the built-in 640 x 512 VOx microbolometer.
Choose your view: always get the sharpest image possible by choosing your color palette. Available views include Black Hot, White Hot and InstAlert™. FLIR’s patented Digital Detail Enhancement™ image processing technology delivers the sharpest image possible, so you can see every detail.
Simple operation: pick up the camera and in less than a second and a half your device is up and running. The simple design means that anyone can use this take-and-go device. Turn it on and off, switch between views, adjust brightness and record video, all with simple buttons on top of the camera. Download your saved recordings with the USB cable.
Portable: this device is lightweight, weighing only 12 ounces. It is smaller than many monoculars: only 6 5/8 inches long x 2 3/8 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches high. It comes with a lanyard, so you can carry it around hands-free and keep it handy at all times. You will need it.
Built for reliability. With a long battery life (over five hours when turned on) and a powerful internal lithium-ion battery, this camera will be ready at a moment’s notice. It’s IP67 waterproof, so it’s protected from water, dust, salt, fog, and all the hazards of life on a boat.
